CFS Freight We Accept for Import

  • General hazardous materials (hazmat) cargo
  • General order cargo (cargo that hasn’t been cleared by US Customs within the allotted time frame)
  • Heavy freight: Contact us for more information about maximum weight
  • In-bond freight (freight that has not cleared Customs): We will hold the freight in our warehouse until Customs clears it
  • Floor-loaded freight and cargo: We can load and unload as needed
  • Palletized loads: We can build pallets and sort freight as needed

Our CFS Import Services

  • We will ensure that the Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier (NVOCC) clears cargo for release
  • We serve as a Central Exam Site (CES) for freight brokers; send your shipments and freight containers to one of our warehouses for inspection by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP)
  • We provide container trucking and drayage for bonded containers between the port and our warehouse
  • We break down pallets and sort cargo based on packing lists

We simplify export logistics for freight forwarders, freight brokers, and retailers who need to export cargo and freight. When you partner with us for your logistics, we’ll coordinate every aspect of your logistics, including drayage/trucking, pickup and delivery, storage, warehousing, and everything you need for CFS export.

Cargo and Freight We Accept for Export

  • Less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments: LTL carriers deliver freight to our warehouse, and we will store it for you. When you’re ready to export it, we load the freight into a container for export.

  • We will store your containers in our warehouse while they’re waiting to be exported.
  • We offer long-term storage at affordable rates.
  • We load stored containers for export directly from our warehouse.
  • We provide linehaul services from your warehouse for export loading (if your export containers are stored in your company’s warehouse).
  • We provide drayage and trucking to transport your cargo for export. If you are located outside of our service area, our brokerage team can arrange services.
  • We provide labeling, dimensions, weights, pictures, reworking, and other export services for your cargo.

Charlotte (CLT)

  • We provide CFS import and export services, and we offer pickup and delivery to and from the CLT rail.
  • We have 5,000-pound lifts for heavy freight and cargo, and we can arrange lifts for heavier loads as needed.

Charleston (CHS)

  • We provide CFS import and export services, and we offer pickup and delivery to and from the CHS ports/rail.
  • We have a 10,000-pound lift and 5,000-pound lifts for heavy freight and cargo, and we can arrange lifts for heavier loads as needed.

Greer (GLS)

  • We provide CFS import and export services, and we offer pickup and delivery to and from Inland Port Greer.
  • We have 5,000-pound lifts for heavy freight and cargo, and we can arrange lifts for heavier loads as needed.
