Jeff Barefoot Joins Guardian Logistics Solutions as CFO

DURHAM, N.C. – Guardian Logistics Solutions (Guardian) today announced the hiring of Jeff Barefoot as chief financial officer. Guardian specializes in managing logistics for businesses of all sizes, handling complex details for freight pickup and delivery, warehousing, distribution, and order fulfillment. The company operates more than 400,000 square feet of TSA-compliant bonded warehouse space in four metropolitan areas of North and South Carolina.

Barefoot is an accomplished senior financial executive with experience as a chief financial officer in a wide range of industries. He has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. Before joining Guardian, Barefoot held leadership positions in technology, manufacturing, distribution, and professional services. He holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his undergraduate degree in accounting and finance from Virginia Tech.

He also served as CFO and controller for Huseby Global Litigation Services, as CFO and vice president of finance at Flow Control Group, and as CFO of U.S. operations for publicly traded Record North America.
